About the role
We're looking for an engineer to help build the foundation of Mellow's iOS experience — the interface where AI meets everyday life.
You'll work closely with Ben (CTO) to craft an app that feels effortless and alive. You'll be responsible for transforming ideas into polished, responsive, human-feeling experiences that people can rely on every day.
This role is for someone who loves the details, moves fast, and wants to help define how personal AI should feel.
What you'll do
- Build core features in SwiftUI, integrating with Supabase and the OpenAI Agents SDK
- Prototype interactions that make AI feel intuitive, not technical
- Collaborate on app architecture and performance
- Help shape our product roadmap and technical foundations
What we're looking for
- 1–4 years of iOS experience or strong personal projects
- Familiarity with SwiftUI, async/await, and Combine
- Curiosity about design systems and how humans think with software
- Energy to experiment, learn, and move quickly
- Good taste — you care about how things feel as much as how they work
Nice to have
- Experience with Supabase or Firebase
- Interest in AI workflows and context systems
- Background in small teams or indie product development
